propaganda picture

This picture is trying to announce that women can finally work. It is trying to imply that women can finally get out of their house, stop taking care of children and the housework and also make money to support themselves. it also encourages women to be independent.

The institution that is trying to help is the government because they're the ones who manufacture the plains. They also want factory workers, therefore they prefer having women on the job than to go broke. I believe that is all part of the company's plan, they hire women so they can feel proud and good for themselves and then the company works them to death.

I think the most persuasive element of this propaganda is to get women to work. They want to get women to work and to be free from the house. I think it is because when women were finally being able to work they felt reveled and free from there house hold.

theme of The Summoning

I think the them of this book is that everyone has a special ability. Weather its acting, math, or like Cloe seeing ghost. As i said before Cloe has an ability to see and here ghost and even talk to them. More over I believe if, someone has an ability they should use it to there advantage. On behalf of Cloe, she uses her power to save the ghost and free their souls.

october blog #1

There are many differences between Plot and "non-plot" questions. This is my definition of these words. A plot question tells the events of the story. However, non-plot questions are the reflections and feelings of the characters' actions, usutally not related to the events of the story.
Example: Non-Plot How did Ana feel when she received the news that her father died?
Example: Plot: How and when did Ana's father died?

FIVE NON PLOT QUESTIONS

1) What does Cloe's ghost seeing and hearing reflect the story?
2) Do you think in chapter 2 Cloe is really seeing the little boy?
3) In Chapter 2 do you think the little boy really dead? or does Cloe just see his ghost.
4) In the begging how could Cloe see the boy if he got hit by a car?
5) In Chapter 3 did Cloe really have a supersition that she lived in the basement when she was younger?

Well I saw Angela Davis's blog and I completely fell in love with it. One reason that I loved it so much was that she also loves Green Day. I love there band! There lyrics are so inspiring. I love how she thinks Green Day has inspired many people because they have. I would want to know witch songs she thinks are inspiring and why? Also if she also agrees to the song American Idiot personally and politically? What I really learned about your article was that the song American Idiot was about Bush. I knew it was about political problems in general but I did not know it was for Bush I just imaged it was about the economy. I think you can improve your blog by not having so many gross errors. I suggest to read though your blog carefully. Pay attention to every small detail in you blog , if it help read you blog out loud to see if it makes scenes. Also I recommend if a parent or a guardian revise your blog. Those tips have helped me I hope they can help you.

song assigment

Your Guardian Angel by: Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Lyrics to Your Guardian Angel :
When I see your smile
Tears run down my face I can't replace
And now that I'm strong I have figured out
How this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul
And I know I'll find deep inside me I can be the one

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

It's okay. It's okay. It's okay.
Seasons are changing
And waves are crashing
And stars are falling all for us
Days grow longer and nights grow shorter
I can show you I'll be the one

I will never let you fall (let you fall)
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all (through it all)
Even if saving you sends me to heaven

Cuz you're my, you're my, my, my true love, my whole heart
Please don't throw that away
Cuz I'm here for you
Please don't walk away and
Please tell me you'll stay, stay

Use me as you will
Pull my strings just for a thrill
And I know I'll be okay
Though my skies are turning gray

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
Even if saving you sends me to heaven
[to fade]

I believe that the purpose of this song is to show what falling in love really, truly is. He is telling you that he doesn’t care what happens as long as they are together. He wants to protect her and do all he can to prove his love for her, which seems to be growing stronger every day. I personally love the way that he seems to be head over heels and not worrying about what that makes him and also how when he says ‘even if saving you sends me to heaven’ is that he’s willing to give his life up for her.

Mom's comment

I really like this type of assignment. I particularly admired the type of communication between student/teacher, and the technical skills required to complete the assignment. However, I'm either too new at this or I didn't understant how to follow the blog because I was not able to locate the article about the governor. The article was about the Middle East, and Karina's comments were about the governor's article. Did I miss something?
Great job to both of you! It is creative (I love the colors and the book pictures), high tech and it looks such a quality job for a 9th grade class! Kudos!!! Keep up the great job!!!

EVIDENCE: As the Iraqi government tries to fend off criticism for security lapses, it has focused its anger on Syria and demanded that Damascus hand over two suspected members of Saddam's ousted Baath Party whom it has linked to the attacks. ( props to signonsandieago.com)
