Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet
Funny it seems,but keeping it;'s dream it learned to breath fresh air
Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared




A)I believe this peom is in third person omniscent. In my perspective or the way I portray the story is that it is about a disabled person that he/she can be disabled mentaly or physically but achieves goals or does things we don't think they can.

B)I belive that the situation is about a disabled person who he belived in himself/ herself but no one else ever really thought about the situaton himself/ herself they were in but only gave sympathy, thus the line"Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared"

C) The most logical message of this story/theme is that it clearly explains that anybody can achive goals, even diabled people. If they set their mind to the dream. I belive this peom also refers to the American dream.

D)When Shakus wirtes the last two lines "the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever cared", the author is using symbolism. The rose represents life, a beautiful life that grew from concrete. The concrete represents the hardships and obstacles that a disabled person has to endure, even when no one else ever cared. In addion to a disable person does not always have to be phicaly. It can also be a meaning of unable for example a person to be relucant or unable. Altough the rose did grow from unwilling and ugly place it still had a purpose to be there
